The Best Way to Reheat Leftover Pizza
The Best Way to Reheat Leftover Pizza
Want to bring your leftover pizza back to life? Here are two easy ways to get that fresh-out-of-the-oven taste:
**Air Fryer Method** – If you have an air fryer, this is a quick and easy way to reheat your slice while keeping it crispy. Just pop it in at 350°F for a few minutes until the cheese is melty.
Skillet Method (My Favorite!)** – No air fryer? No problem! Try this: 1. Preheat a skillet on high, then lower to medium. 2. Add your pizza slice and cover with a lid to trap the heat. 3. Heat for 1–2 minutes until the crust is crispy and the cheese is perfectly melted.

Noli’s Unplugged: What’s Behind the ‘Water’?
Origin: Looking for the authentic NY Slice
We began Noli’s in Blackstone close to 10 years now. We set out to create an authentic NY style pizza in our hometown of Omaha. On a reconnaissance mission to New York, we set out on the Ultimate Pizza Tour, hitting every must-try spot. Have I ever thought I could eat too much pizza? Well… Try Me!!
From quick stops along the street hitting local pizza joints to thelegendary Patsy’s in East Harlem—Where The Choice is Cheese.
This Perfect coal-fired slice is continually served, as taxis idled on street for their riders, serving to commuters through the ciy, on bikes, couples on a motorcycle, and on foot, throughout the day…it was cool to see a true New York Slice in action!
**That classic New York hustle inspired some of that grab and go style in our first iteration. Paper plates, Chinese take-out boxes for our salads, a bar that included a bank of charging ports, if you needed a recharge on the go. (This iconic charging bar is still at Cheeseburgers in Blackstone, if you need a recharge!):)
We absolutely also waited around two hours in line, for several of our favorites. John’s on Bleeker, DiFara’s, Juliana’s. There’s dedication for New Yorkers’ Pizza!
As we ate our way through the city, we kept asking: what makes NYC pizza *so* good? And how best could we bring the authenticity to Omaha. Then it hit us—‘It’s the Water’.

What Makes NYC Water so Unique?
New York City's water is famously credited for making its pizza and bagels the best. Sourced from the Catskill Mountains, it's naturally granite-filtered and has a soft, low-mineral composition that helps create the perfect chewy texture in dough. The balanced pH and unique mix of trace minerals also contribute to flavor. Water makes up 60% by volume of dough, creating a substantial impact on texture, yeast fermentation, and overall flavor.
A close friend of ours, who worked for the EPA at the time, used to test NYC’s tap water right from the streets. Years ago, the city invested in protecting the upstate watersheds, so they would have to use less chemicals to make it safe to drink, downstream in NYC.
She sent us a gallon so we could partner with Omaha’s own Futuramics Clean Water. They do reverse osmosis then recreate the pH and mineral balance, and continually maintenance—bringing that true New York taste back home to Omaha.
Every Glass of Water, Ice Cube and Soda we Serve Utilizes this Water. Best in Town!
